Artists for Enrolment!

AFO are excited to announce our newest venture: Artists for Enrolment!

440,000 people, including 200,000 rangatahi are still not enrolled to vote, and new legislation passed by Luxon’s government has removed same day enrolment as an option in this election. With just over a month left to go until enrolment closes, organisations around Aotearoa are launching campaigns to get every eligible voter enrolled in time for the coming election.

Artists for Enrolment is our contribution to this initiative, which we are delivering alongside our friends at 350 Auckland.

Artists for Enrolment is a free gig, hosted at Neck of the Woods on October 2nd from 6:30pm. Proof of enrolment is your ticket to this night of music, dancing, and celebration, featuring an eclectic line up of pop, r&b, rock, and hip-hop artists such as Lehali, Tiger Lotiss, Slow Rage, and KAIO; with DJ sets from Takatapunani, Rana, and IBSxc to finish off the night.

Volunteers with enrolment resources will be stationed at the door to get everyone enrolled as they enter. If you’re already enrolled, bring proof for free entry, and if you haven’t, don’t worry about it! We’ve got you covered.
